Who We Are
Mission Possible is a network of churches in Northeast Ohio that are sending missionaries to the Dominican Republic to improve the quality of life for the poorest of the poor in the DR. Over the past three years almost 200 unique individuals have participated in the seven mission trips.
The goal of mission possible is to both address the needs of the poorest of the poor and raise up the next generation of individuals who will work to create a better world community.
What We Do
Mission Possible serves the poorest of the poor in the Dominican Republic through fundraising, construction and community development projects. Our efforts so far have been focused in a small community outside of Higuey, and have resulted in a new community center, school, water and septic system, and additional housing. We have also formed a leadership group within the community to provide for the community's future.
In the aftermath of the recent Haitian earthquake our assistance is needed more than ever. In response to this need we are preparing to build an additional 100 housing units to house those fleeing devastation in their home country.
